B.J. Johnson is entering her fourth season atthe Mount in 2014 after guiding the Mountaineers to the NortheastConference Tournament in each of her first three seasons.

This past season, Johnson helped the Mount reach theNEC Tournament for the 11th-consecutive season and tied the NECrecord with 15 overall trips. The Mount put together a 7-11 finalrecord and a 6-3 record in the NEC.  

Johnson made an immediate impact on the program in her firstseason in 2011 by leading the Mount to the NEC Championship gamefor the first time since the 2007 season and the fifth timeoverall. Mount St. Mary's finished 8-11 overall and 6-3 in NECplay.

In 2012, Johnson helped the Mount return to the NEC Championshipgame in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2004-05.Again, the Mount finished with an 8-11 record and a 6-3 mark in NECregular season games.

While at the Mount, Johnson has coached one NEC Defensive Playerof the Year, six All-NEC first teamers, five All-NEC second-teamselections and two All-Rookie team selections. In addition,the Mountaineers won the NEC Sportsmanship Award in 2011.

Johnson is 23-33 overall and 18-9 in league play in her firstthree seasons at the Mount.

Johnson came to the Mount after serving as an assistant coach ather alma mater, Penn State, for the 2007-10seasons. While at Penn State, she was involved in all aspectsof the program, including recruiting, working with both the offenseand defense, scouting and film breakdown.  

Johnson began her coaching career as an assistant coach at theCollege of New Jersey, helping lead the team to the Division IIINational Championship game in 2004.  She was an assistantcoach at Temple for two seasons (2005-06), helping the Owls win theAtlantic 10 regular season title in 2005.  

A 2003 graduate of Penn State, Johnson was earned RegionalAll-American honors in 2000 and 2001 as a midfielder with theNittany Lions.
