Ryan Ventillo

Mount St. Mary's announced the hiring of Ryan Ventillo as the third bowling coach in program history on July 29, 2026. Ventillo comes to the Mount from Dominican University New York, where he led the Chargers to the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, earning an NCAA Regional bid.
 
Dominican went 71-34 with a 16-4 CACC mark in his ultimate campaign, defeating Felician in the title match. At NCAA's, his team earned a victory against Alabama A&M. At the end of the year, Dominican was ranked in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) poll for the first time. Kyra Walter was named CACC Bowler of the Year, and Angelina Tati and Stephanie O'Malley were placed on the All-Conference team. Brian Sinnott was the recipient of the CACC Women's Bowling Top XVI Award, presented to the conference leaders in undergraduate grade-point average.The season was the pinnacle of a multi-year transformation led by Ventillo, who took over the position in 2023 as the inaugural leader of the program.
 
Prior to his time in New York, he served as assistant head coach for Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana from 2017-19. While there, he earned his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019 and two bachelor's degrees in psychology and sociology in 2016. His education also secured career pathways as a therapist with NOCD and the Mental Health Association of Rockland County.
 
Ventillo and the Mountaineers begin the 2026-27 season in October. The team finished 61-36 during the 2025-26 campaign.
