2012 SEASON: Appeared in and started 16 games on the season… Registered two goals and one assist for five points… Took 26 shots… Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 road win at Howard to conclude non-conference action (9-18-12)… Had a career day with a goal and an assist in the second half of a 4-1 win against Bryant in NEC action (10-5-12)… Earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and the NEC Academic Honor Roll.

2011 SEASON: Appeared in 15 games, including seven starts in his first season in Emmitsburg... Posted a goal and three assists for five points on 11 shots in 2011... Made collegiate debut and recorded first career shot in a 1-all result against Towson on Sept. 1, 2011... Dished out an assist in a 2-1 win against Rider on Sept. 4, 2011... Notched his first career goal in a 5-0 win against LaSalle on Sept. 24, 2011... Handed out an assist in a 3-2 win against LIU Brooklyn on Oct. 9, 2011... Registered a helper in a 3-1 victory against Bryant on Oct. 16, 2011.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner on the Mechanicsburg boy's soccer team... Served as team captain in his senior year... Named the Co-Division Player of the Year and to the All-State first team in his senior campaign... Earned Mid Penn All-Star first team in his junior and senior year after being selected to the second team as a sophomore and Freshman to Watch... Selected to the Big 11 first team in 2009 and 2010 and the second team in 2011.

PERSONAL: Currently deciding on a major... The son of Cathy and James Steele... Matthew James Steele was born on Nov. 30, 1992 in Camp Hill, Md.
