AS A FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR: Posted Second Team All-America honors in the decathlon, finishing 13th in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships...Finished eighth in the decathlon at the Texas Relays...NEC Field Athlete of the Week on one occasion...Earned First Team All-NEC honors after winning the pole vault at the NEC Championships...Also earned First Team All-NEC in the 4x400m relay, both indoor and outdoor...Participated in the IC4A Championships in the heptathlon indoors, and the pole vault and 400m outdoors...Was the NEC Field Athlete of the Week indoors after winning the heptathlon at the Navy Invitational...Finished seventh in the pole vault at the NEC Indoor Championships...Was fourth in the 110m hurdles at the NEC Outdoor Championships.
AS A SENIOR: Earned NCAA Honorable Mention All-America honors by finishing in 19th place at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the decathlon...Qualified for the NCAA's with an outstanding performance at the Texas Relays, finishing fifth with 7,609 points...Had six personal bests at the Texas Relays to spark his effort...At the 2011 NEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, placed fifth in the 110m hurdles and was on the Mount's 4x100m relay team that finished fourth with an IC4A qualifying mark of 42.53...Was also on the 4x400m relay team that was third with an IC4A qualifying time as well...Also finished fourth in the javelin at the NEC's...Indoors, finished third at the IC4A Championships in the pentathlon to earn All-East honors...Finished in eighth place in the 60m hurdles at the NEC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
AS A JUNIOR: A mulit-event performer, established himself as one of the top decathletes in the region and nation with victories at the Penn Relays and the IC4A Championships...His win at the IC4A's earned him All-East honors....At the Northeast Conference Championships, scored in five events, posting four personal bests...Finished second in the pole vault with a personal-best mark of 4.60m/15' 1"... Was seventh in the long jump with a personal best 7.12m/23'4.5", seventh in the javelin throwing a personal best 56.39m/185', eighth in the 110m hurdles (his prelim was a personal record 15.12s) while also running on the third-place 4x400m relay team...His Penn Relays victory was the 10th win by a Mount St. Mary's Decathlete, giving the Mount the most Penn Relays decathlon wins of any school in the nation. He was also named All Conference at the 2010 NEC Outdoor Championships in the Pole Vault.
AS A SOPHOMORE: An IC4A qualifier in the heptathlon during the indoor season...At the Navy Invitational, earned second in the pole vault, fifth in the 60m hurdles and sixth in the long jump...Was eighth in the heptathlon at the Penn State National Invitational...Won the heptathlon at the Liberty Quad meet to earn NEC Athlete of the Week honors...Finish seventh at the NEC Championships in the 60m hurdles...Was 10th at the NEC's in the high jump and ninth in the long jump.
AS A FRESHMAN: Finished second in the decathlon at the IC4A Championships...Qualified for the Junior National meet in the decathlon, finishing fourth in the event...Indoors, participated in a host of events...Competed in the heptathlon at the Navy Invitational...Had a long jump of 6.88m at the event...Outdoors, placed sixth at the NEC Championships in the pole vault with a mark of 4.00m.
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the Connecticut state title in the 400m...Personal best time in the event is 48.49s...Earned All-Division, All-Conference, All-Area, All-State and All-New England honors in each of his final two years in high school...Also played basketball...Will compete in the decathlon at the Mount.
