AS A JUNIOR: Registered a 14.84m (48’ 25”) throw at the Patriot Games to put him 8th in school history in the 35-Lb. Weight Throw…Recorded a 44.26m (145’ 2”) hammer throw at the Northeast Conference Outdoor Championships to put him 9th in school history in the Outdoor Hammer Throw.
AS A SOPHOMORE: His top mark during indoor season in the shot put was at the Bucknell Gulden Invitational...His top performance in weight throw was at the S.U. Challenge...Outdoor, had his best throw of season in shot put at NEC Championships...His top mark in hammer came at Alan Connie Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN: Indoors, moved into eighth place on the Mount's all-time list in the shot put with a toss of 14.63m (48') at the Akron Invitational...Finished in eighth place at the NEC Championships in the shot put (14.00m, 45' 11.25")...Had best mark in weight throw at Bucknell...Outdoors, posted best mark in discus and hammer throw at the Fred Hardy Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the state title in the shot put...Also a conference, county and section champion...Has a PR of 55' 7".
PERSONAL: Parents are David and Linda Shinn...Has three siblings, Priscilla, Joshua and Luke...Born November 9, 1997...Majoring in accounting.
