AS A SENIOR: Qualified for the IC4A Championships in the javelin...Finished fourth at the NEC Championships with a toss of 59.74m in the event...Had season-best throw of 60.61m at the Bucknell Team Challenge, finishing third in the field...Won the javelin at the George Mason Spring Invitational...Moved into second all-time in the hammer throw at the Mount with a mark of 47.53m at the Eric Kloiber Inviational...Indoors, broke the Mount's school record in the weight throw (15.74m) at the Bucknell Mini Meet...Finished eighth at the NEC Championships in the weight throw.
AS A JUNIOR: Was a medical redshirt for the 2010-11 season due to injury.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Threw 14.21m/46'7.5" at the Navy Invitational to set a personal best...At the Bucknell Winter Classic Jon also set a personal best in the weight throw, throwing 14.04m/46'0.75"...Outdoors, became the school record holder in the javelin at the University of Virginia throwing 64.68m/212'2"...His performance was good enough to qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Round at North Carolina A&T...Set a personal best in the discus at the Terrapin Invitational throwing 39.92m/131' and threw a lifetime best in the hammer at the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships with a mark of 44.56m/146'2.
