Biography

AS A SENIOR:  The Mount's top performer in the javelin...Finished in fourth place at the NEC Championships with a throw of 52.94m (173' 8").

AS A JUNIOR:  Finished in eighth place in the javelin at the Northeast Conference championships with a toss of 51.54m (169' 1")...That was his best mark of the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Finished in seventh place in the javelin at the Northeast Conference championships...His mark of 57.38m (188' 3") is good for eighth on the Mount's all-time list.

AS A FRESHMAN: Threw the javelin during the outdoor season for the Mountaineers...Won the event at the Mount's home meet, the Eric Kloiber Invitational...Had season-best throw of 50.51m at the meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ran track for three years in high school...He was all county his junior and senior seasons in track...Was the Mercer County Relay Champion his junior season setting the record for the meet.

PERSONAL: Parents are Sally Anne and Joseph Barbato... Has two sisters... Born June 11, 1993... .Majoring in Sports Management.
