AS A SENIOR: Outdoors, was the Mount's top performer in the shot put while also throwing the discus and the hammer throw...Finished fourth at the NEC Championships in the shot put with a mark of 14.35m (47' 1.5")...That is good for eighth all-time at the Mount...Finished in first place in the shot put at the Colonial Relays...Indoor, his mark of 14.52m (47' 7.75") in the shot put at Navy is good for sixth on the Mount's all-time performance list...Finished in fourth place in the wieght throw at George Mason... Member of the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter and spring seasons.
AS A JUNIOR: Finished sixth in the weight throw at the NEC Championships with a mark of 15.71m (51' 6.5")...That throw is good for third on the Mount's all-time top 10 list...Had a season-best mark of 13.08m (42' 11") in the shot put at Navy in mid-January...Outdoors, moved into ninth on the top 10 list at the Mount in the shot put (14.11m, 46' 3.5") and seventh in the hammer throw (42.36m, 139')...Had the Mount's top throw in the discus on the year as well... Member of the Winter and Spring NEC Academic Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Did not appear in a meet for the Mount in 2012-13... Member of the Winter and Spring NEC Academic Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in the throws his first season at the Mount...Indoors, had best marks in both the shot put and weight throw at the NEC Championships...Outdoor, participated in the shot put, discus and hammer throw. Had best throw in the discus at the Eric Kloiber Invitational...His best mark in the shot put was at the Colonial Relays.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ran track his senior year in high school... Was county champ in shot put for both indoor and outdoor track.
PERSONAL: Parents are Karen and Corey Belt... Born August 17, 1993... Majoring in Psychology.
