DuBois, a fourth year assistant to the Mount’s track and field program, competed in the 400 meter Intermediate Hurdles and the 1600 meter relay for Montgomery College and Slippery Rock University.

Dubois earned bronze medals in the 400 IH while at Montgomery College at the Region XX Championships and later was a member of Slippery Rock's national championship team where he also graduated from in 1982.  He earned a Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Natural Resource Management.

DuBois has coached at the youth and high school level since the mid 90's culminating with several national finalists. He has also coach numerous Maryland high school state finalists in sprints, jumps, relays and throws and five-time state champion over 200, 300, 400, and 500 meters. He is also a certified personal fitness trainer through AFAA and is the program’s relay coach.

DuBois resides on a small farm outside of Emmitsburg with his wife, Sharon, twin sons, Collin and Jacob, daughter Hanna and son-in-law Evan.
