Biography

CAREER INFORMATION:  Finished his career at the Mount third in games played (187), third in at bats (620), seventh in runs scored (104), fourth in hits (192), tied for seventh in doubles (34), tied for 14th in home runs (12), eighth in RBI (92), sixth in total bases (266) and 10th in walks (63).

AS A SENIOR:  Started 42 of 46 games played and went 35-for-145 (.241) at the plate...Added 10 doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI and 18 runs scored...Went 7-for-14 (.500) with six RBI in the Mount's four-game series with Fairleigh Dickinson...Added five hits in the four-game set at CCSU...Had 10 multiple-hit games on the year...Was third on the team in doubles.

AS A JUNIOR:  Led the Mount with a .339 average..Tied for the team lead with 12 doubles while adding three home runs and a team-high 32 RBI...Scored 34 runs on the year and tied for the team lead with 59 hits...Ended the season on a nine-game hit streak...Was 17-for-34 (.500) over that stretch with six doubles and six RBI...Had 19 games with two or more hits...Had three RBI in win over Presbyterian and loss at Old Dominion...Was 3-for-5 with pair of doubles in series-opening win against Wagner...Was 9-for-16 (.563) in four-game split with eventual NEC champion CCSU.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Named First Team All-District All-Academic team honors at catcher...Hit .321 with seven home runs, 36 RBI and 39 runs scored on the year...Hit .348 with five home runs and 20 RBI in 26 games against NEC foes...Had five three-hit games on the season...Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI vs. James Madison...Was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in 5-4 win over Sacred Heart...Was 3-for-6 with two runs and two RBI in 11-9 win over CCSU...Had 12 multiple-hit games on the year...Also posted 12 multiple-RBI games.

AS A FRESHMAN:  Hit .331 as a freshman while starting 39 of 46 games played...Went 3-for-5 with three RBI in the Mount's NCAA loss to North Carolina...Was 5-for-5 in the Mount's win over Coppin State...Went 46-for-139 at the plate with eight doubles and 14 RBI on the year...Had a .400 on-base percentage...Had 13 multiple-hit games on the season...Went 10-for-16 at the plate during a five-game hit streak midway through the season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Hit .574 in his senior year at Boonsboro High School with 4 Hrs...Hit .527 in his junior year with 5 HRs and 30 RBIs helping his team to Conference, County, and Regional titles...He was named All-County, All-Conference, and All-Area in both his junior and senior year while earning the Tri-State batting title as a junior...In his senior year he also was named Team Maryland, Brooks Robinson Senior All-Star Game, and All-State...Was awarded the Wendys High School Heisman for the state of Maryland in his senior year for excellence in both academics and athletics...Has a career .474 average with 9 HRs and 67 RBIs...He was the conference All-time leader in hits and RBIs.
