Kristy Erfurdt joins the Mount St. Mary's softball staff after serving as an assistant coach at Hood College in 2020-21.
Erfurdt graduated from Hood in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in integrated marketing communications. She was a four-year starter on the softball team.
While at Hood, Erfurdt was a four-time All-Middle Atlantic Commonwealth Conference team selection, snagging First Team.
At the plate, Erfurdt holds many individual career records. She ranks among the top 10 in batting average, slugging percentage, runs batted in and walks. Erfurdt also ranks among the top five in games played, games started, at-bats, runs scored, hits, doubles, home runs, total bases and sacrifice flies.
