Dagklis is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Mountaineers after graduating from the Mount last year.
While at the Mount, Dagklis played at the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles positions throughout his career. As a senior, he won his final three matches of the season while also appearing in all three doubles spots in the lineup despite being limited due to injuries. As a junior, played at the No. 1 singles position while pairing with Russell Armstrong at No. 2 doubles. In his first season at the Mount, he played at No. 2 singles. Dagklis was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team his senior year.
 He transferred to the Mount after playing his freshman season at North Carolina Central.
