Made his collegiate debut and registered one shot in a 3-0 win against VMI on Aug. 29, 2008... Posted a shot in a 3-1 loss against James Madison on Sept. 5, 2008.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner on the Floyd E. Kellam boy’s soccer team... Served as team captain in his senior campaign... Named to the All-Tidewater Academic first-team in his senior year... Helped his team to the Virginia state quarterfinals in 2006 and 2007.

PERSONAL: Majoring in biochemistry... The son of Claire and Edward Kroft... Older brother Jeremy also joined the Mount men’s soccer team in 2008... Phillip Eugene Kroft was born on June 27, 1990 in Virginia Beach, Va.
