Biography

AS A JUNIOR:  Ran in the season-opening meet at Lehigh, finishing as the Mount's sixth-fastest runner.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Appeared in three meets for the Mountaineers in 2011...Was the Mount's sixth-fastest finisher at the NEC Championships...Also competed at Towson and Saint Francis (Pa.).

AS A FRESHMAN:  Opened collegiate career on a high note, finishing in 11th place at the MSM 5K Duals to earn Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors...Finished in the top five runners for the Mount in all seven events....Was teh Mount's fifth-fastest finisher at the NEC Championships, finishing 42nd overall with a time of 19:20.5....Was teh Mount's third-fastest runner at the Salty Dog Invitational, the Paul Short Run and the Princeton Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated on the Cross Country and both indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Quince Orchard High School... A two-year captain of her cross country and track teams...Helped her team to Divisional and Regional championships in her freshman year for cross country...Was the 3A West Regional Champion her senior season.

PERSONAL: Parents are Ana and Fransisco Joson Jr... Has one brother Josh, and one sister Jill... Born September 22, 1991... Majoring in biology and physical therapy.
