Biography

AS A JUNIOR:  Ran in the six regular season meets for the Mountaineers...Finished sixth among Mount runners at the Northeast Conference Championships...Also ran at the Mount St. Mary's 5K Duals, the Spiked Shoe Invitational, the Ted Owen Invitational, the Paul Short Run and the Princeton Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Ran in all six regular season meets for the Mountaineers in 2013...Was the Mount's fourth-fastest finisher at the NEC Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN:  Did not compete in a meet for the Mount in 2012... Member of the NEC Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: A member of the cross country team for four years... His sophomore season, he helped lead his team to a SEC Conference Championship with a perfect 17-0 record... He was an All-Conference Honorable mention that same year, and received 2nd Team All Conference and 2nd Team All-County honors his junior season.

PERSONAL: Born September 9, 1993... Has two brothers, Patrick and Aiden... Majoring in accounting... The son of Deirdre and John Tonero.
