Biography

AS A JUNIOR:  Appeared in five meets for the Mount as a junior...Finished in 23rd place at the Northeast Conference Championships (27:25.41)...Also ran at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, the Ted Owen Invitational, the Paul Short Run and the Princeton Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Was the Mount's second-fastest finisher at the Northeast Conference Championships, finishing 25th overall...Finished 24th overall at the Mount St. Mary's 5K Duals...Was the Mount's top finisher at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN:  Had strong debut for the Mount, finishing as the Mount's top runner (28th overall) at season-opening meet at Lehigh...Finished 32nd overall at Bryant Invitational the following week...Was 12th at Towson...Was among the Mount's top three runners in each of the five meets he competed at.

HIGH SCHOOL: A member of the cross country team for two years in high school... His junior year, he helped to lead his team to a District an Northern Region Cahmpionship, while placing 3rd in the AAA State Meet... He received All-District and All Region honors that same year.

PERSONAL: Born August 24, 1994... Has one sister Lauren... Majoring in biology... The son of Susane and Mike Jewell.
