AS A FRESHMAN:  Hit .200 (2-for-10) in 13 apperances his freshman season...Recorded first collegiate hit against St. Bonaventure on Feb. 28...Went 1-for-2 against Georgetown on April 10.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played three years on the varsity at Shaler Area High School...Hit .401 as a senior after posting a .436 average with four home runs and 30 RBI as a junior...Hit .463 in American Legion ball his senior season...Named All-West All-Star in American Legion in 2010...Helped team to second place in the region and the Allegeny County Co-Championship...Also played football, leading the team in tackles and sacks as a senior.

PERSONAL:  Parents are Douglas and Shannon Schramm...Born December 26, 1992...Majoring in criminal justice...Has two sisters and a brother.
