Mount St. Mary's University

Jeff Gergic enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Mount St. Mary's baseball program. Gergic serves as the recruiting coordinator and infield coach.

Gergic was pivotal in helping bring the Mount back to the Northeast Conference Tournament for the first time in 10 years during his first season on the staff in 2018. He helped mentor and develop All-NEC infielders Patrick Causa, Alex Kriss, and Vaughn Parker II.

Gergic, a native of Hershey, Pa., brought over 30 years of coaching experience with him to the Mount. He pitched and played shortstop on the 1982 Hershey High School State Championship Team and played collegiately at Elon in North Carolina.

Gergic has coached and trained players at all levels and coached collegiately at Elizabethtown College from 1988–97. Gergic has been involved with high school age players through various travel teams over the last 7 years. He has a proven track record of recruiting, developing and mentoring athletes to prepare them to be successful college baseball players.
