Aaron Tarr comes to Emmitsburg as the Director of Player Development and Assistant Developmental Coach for Mount baseball for the 2025 season.
Tarr brings Division I experience to the staff, after serving in assistant coaching roles with Georgetown, Coppin State, and Mount St. Mary's. Coaching one season with the Eagles, Tarr worked primarily with the outfielders and assisted with the hitters.
Before his time in the college circuit, he served as the head coach of Marshall High School in Virginia. During his seven seasons at the helm the Griffins compiled a 116-47 mark, earned six straight district titles and a state/regional runner-up finish in 2015. Tarr propelled 29 of his players to a collegiate baseball career.
