2023 SEASON: Made five relief appearances, logging 4 2/3 innings ... Delivered scoreless outings in his final two games, both conference games against Saint Peter's and Siena ... Added four strikeouts, including two against Virginia ... Stands sixth in lowest opponent batting average for a career in Division I program history (.273/61.1 IP). 

2022 SEASON: Pitched the most innings for any Mountaineer that did not make a start ... Finished the season with 30 innings of work across 18 games, striking out 24 hitters along the way ... Credited with three victories - March 10th at Navy, May 4th versus George Mason and May 20th versus LIU ... Added two saves in NEC games against Wagner and Merrimack ... During his second save, Beal recorded a season-high five strikeouts ... Helped the Mount defeat Bucknell with 3 2/3 innings of scoreless ball. 

2021 SEASON: Mainstay in the Mount's bullpen with 12 appearances for the season ... Fifth on the team in ERA with a 6.00 over 21 innings pitched ... Earned two victories in relief ... First win came against Bucknell, going his longest outing of the season with four innings of work and a season-high three strikeouts ... Second win came in NEC play versus Long Island on March 21st ... Made his first collegiate start on April 24th against Wagner. 

2020 SEASON: Came on in relief for five games in his freshman year, logging 5 2/3 innings ... Debuted with a scoreless inning of relief against Maryland Eastern Shore on February 28th ... Also had a pair of scoreless outings at San Francisco and in the season finale with Coppin State. 

PERSONAL: Biology major at the Mount ... Father played football at East Carolina and Maryland, mother played tennis at Allegany College ... Both sisters, an uncle and a cousin, also played sports.
