AS A SENIOR: Earned Second Team All-Northeast Conference honors after finishing in second place in the shot put with a throw of 15.58m (51' 1.5")...That mark is good for third on the Mount's all-time list...Had his season-best mark in the weight throw at the River Hawk Opener...Won the shot put at that events as well.
AS A JUNIOR: Recorded 15.18m (49’ 9.75”) shot put at the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships to put him 4th in school history in the Indoor Shot Put…Recorded a 47.97m (157’ 4”) throw in the discus at the Messiah Invitational to put him 6th in school history in the Outdoor Discus Throw.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Earned Second Team All-Northeast Conference honors after finishing second in the discus at the NEC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 46.65m (149' 9")...Moved into ninth on the Mount's all-time list in the discus with his throw of 46.77m (153' 5") at the Catholic Classic...Indoor, his best marks in the shot put and weight throw both came at Navy.
AS A FRESHMAN: Outdoors, named to Northeast Conference All-Rookie team in both the shot put and the hammer throw....Finished fifth in the shot put at the NEC Championships (14.03m, 46' 0.5")...His mark of 15.17m (49' 9.25") in the shot put at Saint Francis is third all-time at hte Mount while his toss of 46.29m (151' 10") at the Fred Hardy Invitational in the discus is 10th all-time at the Mount...Indoors, named to the NEC All-Rookie team in the shot put and weight throw...Finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 14.54m (47' 8.5")...His mark of 14.87m (48' 9.5") at Bucknell is good for sixth on the Mount's all-time list...
HIGH SCHOOL: State champion in both the shot put and discus...Has a discus PR of 165' 9" and a shot put PR of 56' 2"...A conference and region champion as well.
PERSONAL: Parents are Pat Devine and Veronica Van Deusen...Has four siblings: Ryan, Will, Kate, and Matt...Majoring in business.
