AS A FRESHMAN:  Went 0-0 with a 7.76 ERA in 15 appearances out of the bullpen his freshman season for the Mount...Struck out 13 in 26.2 innings of work...Made collegiate debut at Davidson on Feb. 28...Struck out season-high five batters in 5.1 innings of releif in 13-7 loss at UMBC...Allowed one earned run in that game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity baseball junior and senior year for Ridgewood High School...As a junior was named ALL-League NNJIL for pitching and ALL-League NNJIL for infielding in his senior year...Had a 1.26 ERA his junior year in 8 appearances with 4 saves and a 3-0 record...Hit .353 his senior year with 19 RBI.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Business with a minor in Sports Management...Born November 23, 1990...Parents are Adriana and Anthony DeCandia...Has two sisters, Gabriela and Natalie.
