MOUNT UPDATE
The Mountaineers started their season off with a 1-2 record, winning the middle game of three at the Navy Open. The Mount fell to Navy and Air Force, while besting Austin in the three days of play. Luka Urosevic was the best performer in the Open overall, scoring a total of 11 shots across all three days. Six of Urosevic's shots were in the game where the Mount defeated Austin College 16-12. Aleksandar Radosavljevic performed well against Navy, scoring four of the 14 shots coming from Mount. As goalkeeper, Milan Miskolczi recorded eight saves when playing Navy.

Along with Urosevic and Radosavljevic, Neven Cerkez also started the season off well with four goals across three days of play and Will Matthews opened his scorecard for the year with five total goals in three games. As a key returner, Aaron Tarr made his presence known in the fourth quarter against Air Force and in the first two quarters against Navy having two goals each game. Giannis Skliras and Nikos Agritelis are some other key returners who showed out in all games recording at least one goal in each of the games they played. Skliras scored a total of five goals, while Agritelis scored a total of four goals across the three games played this past weekend.

Even with the losses to Navy (15-14) and Air Force (17-13), the Mount is looking to be a formidable opponent for the rest of the season to come, as both losses were close until the fourth quarter of play.
