EMMITSBURG, Md. — Mount St. Mary's men's tennis dropped a close 4–3 decision to Quinnipiac in MAAC action. The Mount falls to 6–11 overall and 3–2 in conference play, while Quinnipiac improves to 6–10 (3–2 MAAC).
Quinnipiac claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Carlos Braun Simo and Alessandro Sciacca earned a 7–5 victory at the top spot, while Csanad Nyaradi and Vishal Prakash secured a 6–2 win at No. 3. The No. 2 match featuring Alexi Roy and Ryan Wagner was tied at 5–5 when play was halted.
In singles, the teams split the six matches. Alexi Roy posted a 6–4, 6–2 win at No. 3, while Ryan Wagner followed with a 6–2, 6–1 victory at No. 4. Alessio Guarino added a 6–4, 7–5 win at No. 6. Quinnipiac countered with wins at Nos. 1, 2, and 5 to secure the team victory.
