EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 7, 2025) –
Naomi Yacyshen led Mount St. Mary's women golfers on the final day of the Bucknell Invitational with a third-place finish. As a team, the Mountaineers finished in fourth place on the team leaderboard with a score of 924 (314-289-321, +43).
Yacyshen finished in third place with a total score of 221 (76-72-73, +11), only one stroke out of tying for first with two golfers from Bucknell.
Bucknell finished in first place on the team leaderboard with a 33-stroke lead above Merrimack in second. Merrimack finished with 3 strokes over Purdue Fort Wayne. Joelle Johnson and Katherine Vice of Bucknell finished tied for first place with a score of 220 (+10) on the individual leaderboard.
To round out the scorecard,
Makensy Knaub finished tied for 12
th with a gross score of 229 (77-70-82, +19), while
Jennifer Sorkin finished tied for18th with a gross score of 231(80-72-79, +21).
Camryn Hoff finished tied for 59
th with a final score of 243 (81-75-87, +33), while
Summer Stroop completed all rounds of play with a total score of 259 (88-80-91, +49).
