EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 6, 2025) –
Makensy Knaub and
Naomi Yacyshen lead Mount St. Mary's women golfers on the second day of the Bucknell Invitational with two top five placements. As a team, the Mountaineers rallied to currently stand in second place on the team leaderboard with a score of 603 (314-289, +43).
Knaub stands tied for second place following an even with par day of 70 and a total shooting of 147 (77-70, +7) between the two days. Yacyshen stands tied for fourth following a 72 day and a total shooting of 148 (76-72, +8).
Bucknell is atop the leaderboard in first place, 13 strokes ahead of the Mount in second. The Mount holds second with a five-stroke lead over Purdue Fort Wayne in third. Joelle Johson of Bucknell currently stands in first place with a score of 145 (73-72, +5) on the individual leaderboard.
To round out the scorecard,
Jennifer Sorkin stands tied for 14
th with a gross score of 152 (80-72, +12), while
Camryn Hoff stands tied for 31
st with a gross score of 156 (81-75, +16).
Summer Stroop completed the second round of play with a gross score of 168 (88-80, +28).
