Men’s Golf Stands Tied for 16th Following Day One of Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational

FARMINGTON, Pa. (September 29, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's golf is currently tied for 16th place on the leaderboard with a gross score of 599 (+23) following day one of the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational. Santiago Bonequi was the Mount's top competitor today after shooting a 146 (71-75, +2) to currently stand tied for 41st.
 
Not all teams/groups finished round two of today's golfing due to play being suspended by darkness and play will be resumed tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. Teams/groups who completed round two will start round three of play at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow as well. Currently standing in first on the team leaderboard is West Virginia with a current score of 555 (-21) after both rounds of play with a four-stroke lead over James Madison in second. For the individual leaderboard, Kaleb Wilson of West Virginia currently holds first with a gross score of 136 (-8).
 
To round out the Mount's scorecard, Bryan Hernandez stands tied for 73rd place following a 151 (77-74, +7) day, while Tyler Fortney stands tied for 76th after shooting a 152 (79-73, +8).  Force Kosalutta stands tied for 81st with a gross score of 153 (75-78, +9) and Brent Glah finished both rounds of plays with a score of 157 (82-75, +13).
