EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 16, 2025) – Naomi Yacyshen and Jennifer Sorkin lead Mount St. Mary's golfers on the second day of the Battle at the Beach tournament with two ten placements. As a team, the Mountaineers finished sixth on the leaderboard, shooting a gross score of 941 (308-307-326, +89).

On the team leaderboard Bucknell University finished in first place, two strokes ahead of Columbia in second. Columbia finished in second with a 22-stroke lead over Lehigh. On the individual leaderboard, Kristina Xu of Columbia finished in first with a score of 218 (+5).

Yacyshen finished tied for seventh with a total score of 226 (74-77-75, +13) and Sorkin finished tied for ninth place with a gross score of 228 (73-73-82, +15).
 
To round out the scorecard, Makensy Knaub finished tied for 35^th with a gross score of 238 (81-78-79, +25), while Camryn Hoff finished tied for 55^th with a total score of 249 (80-79-90, +36).  Summer Stroop completed all rounds of play with a score of 273 (90-86-97, +60).
