Women’s Golf Finishes Tied for Sixth at the Navy Spring Invitational

Annapolis, MD. (April 13th, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's golf finished tied for sixth with a gross score of 657 (335-322, +81) after day two of the Navy Spring Invitational. Jennifer Sorkin led the Mountaineers with a gross score of 161 (85-76, +17).
 
Boston finished atop the leaderboard in first place with a gross score of 594 (+18), two strokes ahead of Navy in second. Navy finished in second with a 14-stroke lead over Penn who finished third. Amy Han of Boston finished in first place with a gross score of 141 (71-70, -3).
 
To round out the scorecard, Makensy Knaub and Naomi Yacyshen finished tied for 32nd with a gross score of 165 (+21). Knaub shot a 83 (+11) on the second day to add to her score of 82 from day one, while Yacyshen shot a 80 (+8) on day two to add to her score of 85 from day one. Erika Cui finished tied for 36th with a gross score of 166 (83-83, +22), while Allie Sexton finished in 50th with a gross score of 189 (96-93, +45). Anna Serrano completed both rounds of play with a gross score of 215 (109-106, +71).
