Cui and Yacyshen Lead Women Golfers on Day One of Kingsmill Intercollegiate

Williamsburg, Va. (March 24, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's golf stands in the middle of the pack following day one of the Kingsmill Intercolliegate. As a team, the Mountaineers currently hold sixth on the leaderboard, shooting +47 (623). Naomi Yacyshen and Erika Cui lead Mount St. Mary's after posting a154 (+10) day between both rounds of play to stand tied for 19th.
 
Yacyshen posted a 73 (+1) score in the first round and a 81 (+9) in the second round. Cui posted a 80 (+8) in the first round and a 74 (+2) score in the second round.
 
Radford is atop the leaderboard in first place, seven strokes ahead of Penn in second. Penn holds second with a six-stroke lead over George Fox. Macy Johnson currently stands in first place with a score of  138(68-70, -6) on the individual leaderboard.
 
Jennifer Sorkin stands tied for 36th following a 159 (79-80, +15) day, while Makensy Knaub stands tied for 41st following a 161 (77-84, +17) day.  Allie Sexton stands tied for 59th following a 176 day (97-79, +32). Anna Serrano completed both rounds of play on day one with a 198 (91-107, +54).
