EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 21, 2025) – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play began for the Mount St. Mary's tennis team Friday, and the men emerged with a 4-3 win over Niagara.
 
The No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches all went to the Mountaineers, with Alexi Roy and Filippos Zachiotis taking victories. The trio also provided doubles wins, with Lucas Evans working alongside Zachiotis and Akarsh Gaonkar working with Roy.
 
On the women's side, they fell to the Purple Eagles 4-1. Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang won a doubles match to secure their point.
 
The home weekend continues with against Siena on Sunday, March 23 at the Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts.
