Emmitsburg, Md. (February 23, 2025)—Mount St. Mary's men's tennis moved above .500 with a 4-1 victory over Hampton on Sunday at the Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts.
The Mountaineers swept the doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the match. In singles play,
Alexi Roy earned a hard-fought win, 6-1, 2-6, 6-3, at No. 2 singles over Hampton's Yanozie Amadike.
Filippos Zachiotis prevailed in straight sets at No. 3 singles while
Alessio Guarino won at the No. 6 spot.
The Mount returns to play on March 8 at Morgan State.
