Bonequi Leads the Field of Mountaineer Golfers Following Day One of the Red Flash Invitational

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (October 6, 2025) – Santiago Bonequi leada Mount St. Mary's men golfers on day one of the Red Flash Invitational standing tied for fifth with a score of 137 (70-67, -3). As a team, the Mountaineers currently stand in fifth place on the leaderboard with a gross score of 562 (+2) following day one of play.
 
On the team leaderboard, High Point stands in first with a gross score of 555 (-5) with a one-stroke lead over Columbia in second. Columbia stands in second with a two-stroke lead over Howard in third. For the individual leaderboard, Tully Super of High Point stands in first with a gross score of 134 (-6).
 
To round out the Mount's scorecard, Force Kosalutta stands tied for tenth place following a 139 (71-68, -1) day, while Daniel Shelley stands tied for 29th after shooting a total score of 143 (69-74, +3).  Tyler Fortney stands tied for 34th with a gross score of 144 (68-76, +4) and Nathan Pheng stands tied for 48th with a gross score of 148 (73-75, +8). 
 
Playing as an individual separate from the team, Fisher Coleman-Sayer finished both rounds of play with a total score of 165 (83-82, +25) to stand in 64th place.
