EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 4, 2025) – Makensy Knaub leads Mount St. Mary's golfers after the first day of the Navy Invitational with a score of 77 (+5). As a team, the Mountaineers stand in tenth on the leaderboard, shooting +42 (330).
 
On the team leaderboard Stetson stands in first place, two strokes ahead of Bucknell in second. Bucknell holds second with a two-stroke lead over Howard in third. On the individual leaderboard, Laniah Moffett and Paris Fieldings of Howard are tied for first with a score of 72 (E).
 
Rounding out the scorecard, Jennifer Sorkin and Naomi Yacyshen currently stand tied for 12^th with a score of 78 (+6). Summer Stroop currently stands in 74^th with a score of 97 (+25), while Anna Serrano finished the first round of play with a score of 104 (+32).
