EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 20, 2025) – Makensy Knaub leads Mount St. Mary's golfers after the first day of the Navy Invitational with a score of 80 (+8) to stand tied for 16^th. As a team, the Mountaineers stand in seventh on the leaderboard, shooting +36 (324).
 
On the team leaderboard Bucknell stands in first place, nine strokes ahead of Towson in second. Towson holds second with a six-stroke lead over Howard in third. On the individual leaderboard, Sasha Petrochko of Duquesne and Sophia Bardunias of Bucknell are tied for first with a score of 74 (+2).
 
Rounding out the scorecard, Jennifer Sorkin and Naomi Yacyshen currently stand tied for 20^th with a score of 81 (+9). Summer Stroop currently stands tied for 29^th with a score of 82 (+10), while Camryn Hoff stands tied for 42^nd with a score of 84 (+12).
