EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 29, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's women's golf completed its tournament at the Navy Invitational, finishing the two-day event in 12
th place.
Makensy Knaub was the top individual for the Mount, completing with a cumulative score of +12, including a +5 on day two.
Naomi Yacyshen finished at +15, followed by
Jennifer Sorkin (+19),
Erika Cui (+32), and
Allie Sexton (+44). Yacyshen takes the best individual 18-hole effort for the weekend, earning a +3 on day one.
TOURNAMENT STATS
Navy took the victory in their home tournament, posting a +16 to win the event.
On October 7-8, the Mountaineers head to Johnstown, Pennsylvania for the Red Flash Invitational, hosted by Sunnehanna Country Club.
