EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 28, 2024) – By a final score of 24-22, Mount St. Mary's women's rugby advanced to the Bowl Final during the Collegiate Rugby Championship in Boyds, Maryland. After defeating Northeastern by that score, the team fell to Southern Nazarene in the ultimate contest, 19-7.
 
Monet Hubbard and Katie Stern paved the way to the victory over the Huskies. The duo completed two tries apiece to accumulate 20 of the team's 24 points. Lily Myers accounted for the remaining four points on a pair of conversion kicks.
 
Stern and Myers showed out again in the finale against Southern Nazarene, teaming up for the Mount's lone score of the contest. The opposition found themselves in the try zone three teams with two conversions.
 
The win over Northeastern combined with a Saturday win over Michigan as Mount St. Mary's went 2-2 on the weekend.
