BERLIN, Md. (March 30th, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's men's golf have opened spring play on fire after finishing tied for fourth place in the Battle of Rum Pointe, posting two top four finishes in the span of two weeks.
Ben Smith was the Mount's top competitor as the senior finished in third place with a total score of 145 (+1), with a one stroke over par round today, shooting a 73.

Aaron Sorkin plays the honorable mention role as the junior finished Rum Pointe tied for fourth with a total score of 146 (+3), while shooting one under par today, 71.
Juan Fradera finished tied for 24
th with a score of 152 (+8), shooting consecutive 76's, while
Santiago Bonequi tied for 44
th with a final score of 156 (+12).
Devin Smith rebounded his day one performance with a 75 (+3) today and tied for 65
th with a total score of 160 (+16).
La Salle University won the tournament with a total team score of 590 (+1), while Ben Battye of La Salle finished first atop the individual leader board after shooting a 137 (-7).
