Olean, N.Y. (March 17, 2024)--The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team lost a road match at St. Bonaventure on Sunday morning.  The Mountaineers fall to 4-8 on the seaosn with the 7-0 loss to the Bonnies.

Doubles play was tightly contested with St. Bonaventure earning 7-6 wins at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.  Victor Mignot and Elliot Stevens lost a 7-3 tiebreaker to Archie Graham and Hugo Cochlin at the No. 1 doubles position while Jarrett Karnibad and Filippos Zachiotis fell in a 7-5 tiebreaker to Jean Marrero and Anargha Ganguly at No. 2 doubles.

In singles play, Mignot lost in three sets, 2-6, 6-1, 6-2, to Graham at the No. 1 singles positoin.  Luke Papayoanou lost a hard-fought match to Rasmus Egehus, 7-5, 7-5 at No. 4 singles with Karnibad falling to Conner Turner, 7-6 (9-7), 7-5 at No. 5 singls. Marcel Cronin lost a pair of tiebreakers, 7-6, 7-6, to Marrero at the No. 6 singles spot as well.

The Mount is back in action on Wednesday against Bloomsburg.
