URBANA, MD. (March 17^th, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's men's golf wins their spring-opener at the Carpetbagger Classic. After tying for fourth yesterday, the team put together a 287 round to come out victorious over 12 opponents.
 
Ben Smith finished first place atop the individual leaderboards with a 69, 3 under par round today, and a tournament total 144, finishing even.
 
Aaron Sorkin finished tied for fifth with a score of 146 (+2) while shooting a strong 67 (-5) in today's round. Juan Fradera finished tied for fifth with a 146 (+2), while Devin Smith tied for eighth with a 147 (+3). Joseph O'Malley finished tied for 58^th with a score of 160 (+16)
