Lewisburg, Pa. (February 23, 2024)--The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team lost at Bucknell, 7-0, on Friday evening.  The Mountaineers fall to 3-5 on the season with the loss.

The Bison swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.  Filippoos Zachiotis and Jarrett Karnibad were defeated, 7-5, at the No. 3 spot.  Elliot Stevens and Victory Mignot lost 6-3 to Amar Tahirovic and Brendan McDonald at No. 1 doubles while the pair of Pablo Martinez Zuccardi and Ryan Wagner fell 6-3 to Adam Stavrakas and Oscar Bain at the No. 2 position.

In singles play, Bucknell (4-2) won all six matches to secure the win.  Zachiotis lost 2-6, 6-2, 10-7 to Stavrakas at No. 2 singles in the lone match to be extended past two sets.  Luke Papayoanou fell to Tim Zelikovsky, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 6 singles.

The Mount plays at Georgetown tomorrow at 3:45 p.m.
