Mount Loses out on the Final Day of the Gary Troyer

Claremont, Calif. (October 5, 2024) – Men's water polo suffered two losses today to Air Force and Pomona-Pitzer 18-10 and 18-13 respectively on their final day of the Gary Troyer Tournament. With the final day of their Tour o California wrapped up, the Mount retains a record of 2-16 as they return home to Emmitsburg to face conference opponents next weekend.

After being outscored at halftime 8-6 with a hat trick from Chrysostomos Valavanis and two goals from Michael Lemishko and Zach Fischer, the Mount were unable to retain the same chances in front of the Falcons goal as they did through the first 16 minutes.
