Claremont, Calif. (October 4, 2024) – The Mount St. Mary's men's water polo team faced defeat today during their second day of their Californian excursion, losing their first game to California Baptist, 15-10, and their second game to Loyola Marymount, 18-6.
An
Aaron Tarr hat trick outlined the Mount's first game against CBU as
Nicholas Wallace-Whitfield,
Michael Lemishko,
Zach Fischer,
Alexandros Bellesis,
Nate Valentine,
Jack Fox, and
Bryce Broadway contributed one goal apiece.
Sherif Hosni made 13 saves against the Lancers in today's first game with the Mount coming up short in the end.
In the second game against Loyola Marymount,
Michael Lemishko led the way with two goals followed by Fischer, Bellesis, Fox, and
Nate Hopkins with a goal apiece. Tarr contributed two assists in the effort while
Vasilije Marinkovic made 12 assists in the game.
