Irvine, Calif. (October 3, 2024) – Men's water polo suffered two tough defeats today against Biola and Concordia University Irvine today to start their series of games out west in California. They lost their games 12-4 and 14-8 respectively.
In the first game of the day, the Mount tallied four goals against Biola, with
Chrysostomos Valavanis,
Michael Lemishko,
Nate Valentine, and
Kiahi Horan grabbing a goal in the matchup.
Sherif Hosni recorded 10 saves against the Eagles in the defeat.
During the second game against CUI,
Alexandros Bellesis grabbed a hat trick and then some with four goals while
Aaron Tarr scored twice and Lemishko and Valentine continued their ways from the Biola game with a goal apiece.
Vasilije Marinkovic continued his stellar defense in the cage, recording 14 goals against the Golden Eagles.
