VERONA, N.Y. (September 3rd, 2023) - Mount St. Mary's tee'd off their Fall season in Verona, N.Y. at the Turning Stone Resort today and completed two rounds. The Mountaineers put their strengths on full display as they currently sit in sixth place of the fifteen teams competing. The team is +28 through two rounds with a score of 604, shooting a 302 the first round and a 298 the second.
Boston College is atop the leader board with a total team score of 581, posting a score of 284 (-4) the first round and a 297 (+9) in the second. Jack Pogorelc of Boston College holds first place shooting a 70 and 71, tallying a total score of 141 (-3).

Aaron Sorkin leads the pack tied for 13th through two rounds with a total score of 148, shooting even par in round one and a 76 (+4) in round two. Junior
Devin Smith is next tied for 17th with a score of 149 , split into a 74 and 75. Senior
Ben Smith is tied for 24th with a score of 152 (+10), split into a 78 and 74. Sophomore
Nathan Pheng is tied for 34th with a score of 155 (+11), split into 74 and 81. Graduate student
Mitchell Gallo is tied for 80th with a score of 180, split into a 91 and 89.
