WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (September 12th, 2023) - Mount St. Mary's women's golf finishes the William & Mary Invitational in ninth place with a gross team score of 983 (+119). 

Georgetown took the first place ranking with a gross team score of 891 (+27). Phoebe Carles of UNC Asheville finished first atop the individual leader board with an even gross score of 216 (E), followed by Megan Gormley of Georgetown with a score of 220 (+4). 

Naomi Yacyshen finished tied for 38th after shooting a 76 today while grossing 237 (+21) through three rounds. Jennifer Sorkin finished 46th with a final score of 247 (+31), while Erika Cui finished in 48th with a score of 248 (+32). Makensy Knaub finished 48th with a final score of 251 (+35), while Allie Sexton finished 51st with a score of 274 (+58).

The Mountaineers return to the tee box next week at the Hornet Invitational beginning September 18th in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware at the Kings Creek Country Club.
