Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (April 21, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's men's golf is currently in fifth place with a score of 292 following day one of the MAAC Championships. Devin Smith was the Mount's top competitor today after shooting a 70 (-2). Devin Smith recorded four birdies and 12 pars on his way to the top five.
 
Iona University leads the pack with a combined score of 284 (-4). Killian McGinley of Fairfield University leads the individual leaderboard after shooting a notable 68 (-4).
 
Aaron Sorkin recorded one of three Eagle's shot in the tournament today, one birdie, and notched 12 pars as he sits in 26^th place with a score of 76 (+4). Ben Smith penciled in 14 pars on the day with two birdies as he is tied for 10^th after shooting an even 72. Hank Schaefer penciled in 12 pars and two birdies today as he currently holds the 17 spot with five other golfers. Michael Robinson is currently in 33^rd after shooting for nine pars and three birdies.
