Box Score Ebensburg, Pa. (March 27, 2023)—Mount St. Mary's edged Saint Francis U, 4-3, on Monday afternoon.  The Mount's Andrew Allen clinched the match with a win at No. 6 singles.

Mount St. Mary's swept the doubles matches to earn the doubles point.  Filippos Zachiotis and Jarrett Karnibad edged Adam Kush and Zachary Palko, 7-6 (8-6) at the No. 1 doubles position to stretch their win streak to nine matches.  The duo is 16-3 this season in doubles play.  Christos Dagklis and Marcel Cronin were 6-3 winners over Christian Banti and Jordi Garcia at No. 2 doubles while Giovanni Abriola and Ryan Isgett were 6-3 winners over Patrick Reese and Matt Kozar at No. 3.

In singles play, Zachiotis edged Kush at No. 1 singles, 7-6, (7-2), 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) with Abriola earning a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) win at No. 2 to give the Mount a 3-0 lead.  The Red Flash countered with wins at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles, but the Mount's Andrew Allen secured the victory with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Palko  at No. 6.

The Mountaineers continue their busy schedule by hosting Rider on Wednesday afternoon.
