LANCASTER, Pa. (November 20th, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's swim and dive men's team finished the Franklin and Marshall Invitational in eighth place with a gross team total of 377 points, while the women's squad finished in tenth place with 201 points.
Timmy Bonner earned the first points of the day for the men's team after finishing 20
th in the 200-Yard Breaststroke with a finals time of 2:15.57.
Seth Garbanzos and
Gavin Schaeffer were next to add to the men's point total with 23
rd and 24
th placement in the 200-Butterfly, Garbanzos finished in 2:09.68 while Schaefer finished in 2:10.30.
Aidan Patterson added 16 to the Mount's point total after finishing in 11
th place in the 100-IM with a finals time 55.01 seconds.
John Fahrney closed the day with a 12
th place nod in the 1650-Freestyle event, Fahrney finished in 17:12.40, earning his squad an additional 15 points.
Aracelli Skiles earned the first points of the day for the women's team with a 12
th place nod in the 200-Breaststroke while finishing with a time of 2:30.28, earning her squad 14 points.
Juliana Yates closed the scoring portion of the day for the women's team by adding three points to the Mount's total with a 22
nd place finish in the 100-IM with a finals time of 1:06.56.

Mount St. Mary's takes a weekend off to prepare to compete in the ECAC Winter Championships and the H2Ounds Invitational. The swimmers will compete in the ECAC Winter Championships in East Meadow, N.Y., December 1
