LANCASTER, Pa. (November 18th, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's swim and dive teams struggles followed them into day two of the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The men's team currently sits in eighth place with a gross team total of 227 points, while the women's team is in tenth place with a 125-point total.

The men's team started the day with a tenth-place finish in the 200-Yard Medley Relay led by
Nicholas Fox,
John Kaiser,
John Haskins, and
Timmy Bonner, earning their team 34 points with a finals time of 1:36.53. Haskins has been a popular name in this tournament as he was the second on the board for the Mountaineers today with a ninth-place nod in the 100 Butterfly with a finals time of 51.46 seconds. Kaiser added 13 to the Mount's total with a 14
th place finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a finals time of 59.83 while
John Baroody and Nico Fox added 27 for their squad with a 13th and 14
th place finish in the 100-Backstroke.
The women's squad opened the day with a 32-point, 11
th place performance in the 200-Medley Relay with a finals time of 1:52.13 led by
Juliana Yates,
Aracelli Skiles,
Sofia Allison, and
Julianna Veilleux.
Elizabeth Horner added 14 points to their total with a 13
th place nod in the 400-IM, finishing in a time of 4:50 .77.
Play concludes tomorrow beginning at 10:00 A.M. while finals are scheduled for 5:00 P.M.
